Despite missing Willy after he left, I had my college gal pals come visit me the next weekend!! Their Airbnb was fantastic — they had a framed autograph from Brittany Spears in their bedroom.

The first night, we went to downtown Orlando to check out Independent Bar, also known as ibar. It was pretty fun, but the DJ wasn’t the best. He played Dynamite by Taio Cruz for the full length of the song, so I kinda felt like I was at a middle school dance. Eventually, we got tacos and called it a night.

For our first full day, we went to Cocoa Beach. It was fun playing in the cold ocean again.

After soaking up the sun, we went to this small restaurant to get sushi.

We planned on going out again that night, but we were so exhausted that we slept for ten hours.
The next day, we drove to Daytona Beach and stopped at The Ultimate Omelet House (yes, that's the real name) for breakfast. It was amazing and so filling. Here's a look at the Bloody Mary and omelet I ordered!
At first we thought The Ultimate Omelet House was crowded just because it was popular, but we found out that it was also biker weekend! This definitely impacted finding a place to park later on. We ended up parking in a parking garage that had a walk way leading to the beach, so it worked out.
As it just so happens, we were walking down the coastline to people-watch and my friends spotted guys from IUP. (What are the odds???) So we hung out with them for a bit before going out again. This time we went to a place called 509 Lounge.
I had to work the following day, so I met up with my gals one last time for dinner at Bahama Breeze. My friend Jess found out she got into grad school, so we celebrated by ordering a selection of drinks! I also ordered shrimp tacos with a bowl of chowder on the side.
All in all, I was so glad that I got to see my girls!!
